Product Description For years, visitors to Hawaii have been bringing a taste of Hawaii home with them in the form of 100% Kona coffee. Now you can have it shipped direct to you from Kona. The unique environment of the tiny Kona Coffee Belt, only about 2 miles by 15 miles, creates the ideal growing conditions for premium quality coffee beans. Coffee trees flourish on the Konas volcanic slopes under warm morning sunshine and afternoon cloud cover. Individually hand-picking the coffee cherries at the peak of ripenes, our coffee is processed and then sun-dried to bring out its characteristic flavor. The final step is micro-roasting at the farm in small batches, helping to ensure the freshness of each and every bag of Hawaii Roasters 100% Kona coffee.

As good as advertised March 11, 2010 NYATTORNEY (New York, NY) I have to admit that initially I wrote a 4-star review and indicated that although I thought Kona coffee was good I didn't think it was any better then my favorite coffee, which is Peet's coffee. I guess I had to live with the coffee for a day or two or maybe I just wasn't in the mood when I first brewed it, but now I love it. I think all coffee lovers are always in the hunt for "the perfect cup of coffee" and although I don't know if this is it, it's a pretty great cup of coffee. I'm not a huge coffee expert so I can't dissect the taste other then to say it's not bitter like Starbucks and doesn't give me as much acid indigestion as some other cofee does. and most importantly, it is delicious! The price is steep so this won't be my everyday coffee (that honor still goes to Peets), but this is something I will definitely splurge on at least once or twice a year.
Great coffee! March 8, 2010 David Anderson (Seattle) My wife wanted to make coffee at home, but she loved Starbucks coffee. So she asked me to find her some good coffee to compete with her favorite. I apparently found it. In the last few weeks she's been drinking Kona coffee and been very impressed. We just went to Starbucks yesterday, and she was very disappointed :) She said she hadn't realized it, but this Kona coffee spoiled her :)
So anyway, at least from our point of view, it's great coffee, very smooth, and a winner.
Kona! Kona! Kona! February 13, 2010 R. Conrad (USA) If you have been purchasing Kona coffee and it doesn't say "100% Kona", then you're buying a blend. After brewing, Kona has a fantastic aroma with a light body and mellow flavor. The Medium Roast is the best style to release the subtle characteristics of 100% Kona and it makes a GREAT iced coffee. Excellent bag design and packaging, which allows for instant re-seal to ensure continued freshness and is very attractive as a display item. The taste... aaahhhhhh. I drink straight black, no fillers, and the smell is intense. It drives my co-workers crazy in the morning, even the non-coffee drinkers. They all share the same opinion when describing and tasting my Kona, and look forward to my first morning brew. I hope others will enjoy it as much as I do. Grab a bag NOW. Enjoy!
Rich & Smooth February 4, 2010 J. Iona This is a delightful roast that proved both rich in flavor and silky smooth to the palate. I have now had two of Hawaii Roasters Kona products (the dark and medium roasts)... enjoying both immensely.
Scary Good January 31, 2010 Jarrod Connerty (FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wish I'd never tried it. Soooo much different than the Kona 'blends' available @ Marshall's, etc. Sublimely good coffee.
